Burmese Nga Hpet Thoke - Fish Cake Salad

Fish Cake Salad
A quick & easy salad using fish cakes that are available in most Asian grocery stores. There is no mention of salt because the fish cakes are already seasoned and cooked and the fish sauce is salty. This salad is salty, tangy, crunchy and very tasty.

Ingredients:
½ lb. Thai frozen fish cakes, thawed & diced
1 Tbsp. fish sauce
1 small onion, peeled & diced
1 medium tomato, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
1 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
½ lime

Directions:
Combine all ingredients and squeeze lime over all.
Toss thoroughly, chill and serve as part of a Burmese meal.
