Frozen Strawberry 'Cheesecake' |
1 (16 oz.) tub frozen sliced strawberries with sugar, thawed
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese, brought to room temperature
1 (8 oz.) tub Vanilla Cool Whip
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions
- Line a 9" x 5" glass dish with a double layer of foil, overlapping all four sides.
- Drain thawed strawberries, and set aside the juices.
- Using an electric beater or mixer, whip cream cheese, sour cream and Cool Whip until smooth and free from lumps.
- Mash the strawberries and fold into the whipped mixture until combined.
- Freeze for several hours, preferably overnight.
- Remove from freezer and place in the fridge a couple of hours before serving.
- Slice and serve with reserved strawberry juices.
