Coffee Almond Crunch Ice Cream |
1/2 a large ripe banana, sliced
1/8 tsp. instant coffee crystals
1 tsp. blanched & sliced almonds
Directions
- Freeze banana slices for 15 minutes.
- Take out of freezer and mash banana with instant coffee crystals.
- Freeze in an airtight container for another 15 minutes.
- Take out of freezer and mix with the nuts.
- Fold, lifting ice cream from bottom to the top to resemble a scoop.
- Transfer to serving dish and freeze again until ready to serve.
Note: I used a seedless banana. If that's not available where you live, make sure to remove the seeds.
